No there's not allot of difference in the service, cost or providers.

The main difference is that America has more providers on offer it is on occasion ever so slightly cheaper than the UK but not a noticeable difference.

America has more users of VoIP at current than England it has been introduced there slightly earlier than hear, even though the technology has been available for a long while it has only just been perfected to meet the standards of the current way of calling.

The VoIP mobile technology is ahead in America this is due to more free wireless facilities than the UK at current but it is vastly growing and will soon be used everywhere.

VoIP is more widely used in the USA due to a big demand for high speed internet access and good cable providers.
